Fellowship in Hysteroscopy Training
This intensive 3-day offline training is designed to provide gynecologists and reproductive specialists with practical expertise in diagnostic and operative hysteroscopy. Through a combination of simulation-based learning and live case observations, participants will develop proficiency in hysteroscopic techniques, from basic visualization to advanced surgical procedures.
Morning Session – Theory
- Introduction to Hysteroscopy: History, Evolution & Importance
- Anatomy of Uterine Cavity: Relevance to Hysteroscopic Procedures
- Indications & Contraindications of Hysteroscopy
- Instrumentation: Hysteroscopes, Cameras, Fluid Management Systems, Energy Sources, Bipolar vs. Monopolar
Afternoon Session – Hands-On Training (Simulators / Models)
- Scope handling and visualization techniques using hysteroscopic simulators.
- Performing diagnostic hysteroscopy on models for real-time skill application.
- Practicing safe and effective hysteroscopic entry techniques.
- Uterine cavity assessment and identification of common pathologies.
- Fluid management: principles, safety measures, and troubleshooting.

Afternoon Session – Advanced Hands-On Training
- Performing operative procedures on hysteroscopy trainers (e.g., simulated polyps and fibroids).
- Simulation of hysteroscopic myomectomy and TCRE (Transcervical Resection of Endometrium) using resectoscope.
- Practicing foreign body removal techniques within simulated environments.
- Simulation of electrosurgical procedures with emphasis on safety and technique.
- Step-by-step operative guidance and technique refinement from expert faculty.
- Managing and troubleshooting common intraoperative challenges in operative hysteroscopy.
Full-Day Clinical Exposure in OT/OR

Candidates must possess a Undergraduate MBBS, BAMS, BUMS, Ayush Doctors,
postgraduate degree in Obstetrics & Gynecology (MD/MS/DNB/DGO) from a recognized institution.
Candidates actively involved in clinical practice in the field of Obstetrics & Gynecology will be given preference.
Yes, participants will receive a Fellowship in Operative & Diagnostic Hysteroscopy (FIH) upon successfully completing the program.
